Ivy is a dummy (idiot) who is living in a fantasy world with fairies, unicorns and care bears.

Yeah, one of the HUGE negatives with Nuclear Power is its grid loving, base load power 24/7. Oh, that's so horrible. Base load is the FIRST building block of a stable grid.

For someone that thinks he is so smart, that is a very illiterate response.  You could have just said “nah nah boo boo” or “I know you are but what am I”, they both have the same level of insight as your response.  You suffer from Object relation disorder.  You have invested considerable emotional energy into your nuclear career, this is known as an ‘external object’.  Your passion led to a loss of your ‘self-object’ where the external object and self-object have lost distinction. (This condition is called "confluence") When you were fired from that nuclear career, this caused considerable mental trauma resulting in all of nuclear being ‘dead’ to you. In order to ‘get well’ you need to analyze and interpret this transference, so that you can move on with a healthy life. Otherwise, you will continue to troll the website of a field you no longer can work in because your terrible personality didn’t play well with your chosen career path.  Move on with life brother.  Get well, and move on.  Stop dwelling in the past.  Stop blaming your failure in the nuclear industry on the nuclear industry and take ownership in your actions, and your roll.

Sorry I love the nuke industry and had
Lots of people who would have loved to work for me. My
last boss ended up asking everyone on site for input trying to get at least one negative item and ended up giving up. I am NERC certified something very few operators can claim. I am not certain if any can. My answer is dead on as neither
Grid control nor NERC require base load. It isnt part of the equation and definitely not for his grid

Riiiight.

I see the love there, it runs deep.  Too bad it didn't love you back.  I didn't say you don't love it.  I said your unrequited love is what is manifesting itself. Perhaps you need to borrow my kids Reading Comprehension Worksheets to practice on.

My last boss ...

And the one before that ...  Two out of Two don't speak very highly of you. Like I said, take ownership of your actions, and stop blaming others.

I am NERC certified something very few operators can claim. I am not certain if any can.

A quick search of NERC Certified Nuclear Operators in my friends list shows hundreds of them, my dear snowflake. You may recognize one of them.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the North American Electric Reliability Corp. (NERC) don't seem to agree with you.  But I'm sure you're smarter than the experts that you claim certified you.

FERC Acting Chairman Cheryl LaFleur said she is especially interested in the state of the nuclear energy sector. “It is very important to reliability, [and] it is more than half of the carbon-free generation in the country, so we’re very interested in all the things that [regulators] do that affect the viability of that resource."

FERC Commissioner John Norris likened the baseload generation role of nuclear power plants to a “resting heart rate.” “How much do you need a good resting heart rate? That’s what nuclear provides. We’ve kind of devalued that, but when you call upon it, it needs to be there,” Norris said. One of the questions facing regulators, he said, is “how do we keep this resting heart rate alive, recognize the importance of it in our markets, to keep these plants here? They are very critical to … keeping our electric system in place.”
