Question about clearance and process
« on: Jun 20, 2024, 01:22 »
Hi,

I was recently offered a position but was informed that I did not receive unescorted clearance based on a couple of responses from the questionnaire and clinical interview. I now have to wait to find out next steps. I disclosed some depression issues in the past and current medication for anxiety. Will this stop me from being employed because I was upfront and honest? I thought I would be starting soon. They said that I can apply for unescorted clearance at some point later on, but now my clearance is restricted. Has anyone else experienced this? Any guidance on what to do? Can they rescind the offer?  :-X

Yes they can rescind the offer.
