Two previous DWI
« on: Jul 08, 2024, 01:25 »
I have around 7 years of nuclear experience. But its been 5 years since I applied to get access in a nuclear plant. I recently applied to a job at a nuclear plant and got it on a conditional basis , what is my chances of getting my unauthorized access back with two pass DWIs since my last time at a nuclear plant ?

Have they been resolved?  Did you complete all court ordered actions?  Has your license been reinstated?

If everything has been closed up and buttoned up, and reinstated... then you should be ok.

No one’s going to be able to answer this for you. It’s going to be up to the substance abuse experts decision and then the reviewing official in accordance with the licensees procedures.  It’s not just about the DUIs being resolved…there were two duis within a 5 year period, which may relate to some behavioral/decision making lapses on your part.
