Later this year the Manhattan Project Museum will have an overlook of the old K-25 site though K-25 is gone and the new prototype reactor, nuclear component facility and the TRISO fuel facility will soon be there instead. Many states are working on being a nuclear hub, but Oak Ridge is well on its way next to Y-12 and ORNL in the DOE Oak Ridge Reservation in close proximity.
