Primary Purpose of Position

Conducts in home sales visits to promote and sell Home Improvement products and services. (Attic Insulation, Doors, Roofing, Siding, Solar Attic Fan, Windows). Responsible for delivering customer proposals, drafting contracts, and providing detailed information on sale terms and delivery timelines. Employ consultative selling strategies to enhance sales volume, sustain profitability, and effectively meet customer desires, requirements, and goals. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and collaborating with internal teams to guarantee that projects are executed as promised.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Maximize profitable sales by achieving targets for Home Improvement products through in-home visits, ensuring technical accuracy and high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through leads from internal teams, vendor referrals, and personal networks to drive repeat and referral business across company divisions.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, including product selection and coordination with installation teams to ensure installations are performed timely and accurately. Work with operations and third-party vendors to verify product availability, pricing, and scheduling.
  • Stay informed on product knowledge, pricing, and relevant codes by attending company-sponsored training and independently reviewing product literature and specifications to maintain high selling standards.
  • Prepare and submit complete and accurate job packages, requesting non-standard pricing from sales management when needed.
  • Communicate effectively by providing timely lead updates, customer follow-ups, and internal coordination while adhering to company policies.
  • Contribute to team development by mentoring new sales representatives, assisting with customer service resolutions, participating in trade shows, and engaging in other company-sponsored activities or training sessions as required.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 2-years of customer-facing experience or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
  • Self-motivated, driven to achieve success and focused on personal continuous improvement
  • Ability to work flexible, sometimes extended hours, including nights and weekends
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and have reliable personal transportation
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Solid computer background/experience, including Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks accurately
