Job description
iParametrics is in search of experienced I&C Engineers to contribute to a pivotal Department of Energy nuclear project. This role is tailored for seasoned professionals with prior experience in I&C engineering within the nuclear industry. Your primary focus will be on remote design tasks related to the project's instrumentation and control systems. This includes designing control systems architecture, PLC programming, network configuration, and HMI development. Location: Remote with required travel to project offices in Greenville, SC for a minimum of 1 week per month.

Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and coordinate I&C engineering projects during planning, design, and construction phases.
Conduct a broad range of I&C design activities, including control systems architecture, PLC programming, network configuration, and HMI development.
Prepare and modify instrument and control systems design documents, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts.
Interpret and apply relevant codes and standards for control systems design and construction.
Support interdisciplinary collaboration.
Conduct construction document reviews and support cost and schedule estimates.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Control Systems, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or similar accredited engineering B.S.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in design, estimating, and construction document preparation, preferably in the nuclear industry.
Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) is advantageous.
Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
Proficiency in organizing and independently executing tasks.
Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to control systems engineering.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented engineering culture.

Additional Requirements:
US citizenship required to be authorized to work on Department of Energy projects.

Pay Transparency Statement: This position pays $73 -$82/hr. As required by applicable pay transparency laws, iParametrics provides a range of compensation for these roles. Your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including specific skills, level of experience, geographic location or other relevant factors.
