Expected salary range of $155,700 to $173,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide management of the engineering function of accountability and act as backup to the Site Engineering Director.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide management of the station design engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results.
  • Participate as manager in Business Planning, Budget and Business Performance review for Site Design Engineering. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development, compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.) Ensures consistent and effective work force practices through assigned supervisors/functions.
  • Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 8-10 years of nuclear power plant design engineering experience with 3 years of engineering management experience
  • RHR evaluation/recommendation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineering Registration
  • Advanced Technical Degree, MBA
