Starting pay rate: $38.30/hr (non negotiable)
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Selection will be based on ability, seniority, and a number of factors, which may include an interview, job record review, and ability to perform the duties and physical demands of the position, with or without adjustments. For lateral, disability, or restricted duty candidates: Must submit a medical release prior to the selection call confirming ability to report to full duty within 14 calendar days. For promotion candidates on disability or restricted duty: Must submit a medical release prior to the selection call confirming ability to report to full duty within 21 calendar days.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Under direct supervision, load and unload trailers and trucks; strap and properly secure the load; drive company vehicles including forklifts; assist in performing scheduled pole deliveries; assist delivery of materials to field and company locations; process returned material; assist with receiving and checking material; put away stock; pick material request tickets; and manage open stock. This position is subject to shiftwork and overtime, including responding to call outs, is required.
