Expected salary range of $133,200 to $148,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Principal DevSecOps Engineer will actively create and develop the processes and automation required to scale various solutions and platforms. The person in this role will collaborate with leadership, architects, software engineers, operations, security and other team members for the development and delivery of software releases. They streamline and remove barriers between software development, testing and operations teams with a strong focus on security, application development best practices, and infrastructure stability. The right candidate is someone who likes working on challenging projects in both functional and technical areas. Along with the expertise in cloud and automation, the Principal DevSecOps engineer is expected to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment. The Principal DevSecOps engineer is adept at solving complex technical problems and leading teams that span multiple areas combining software and systems. They also excel in automation scripting, infrastructure orchestration, release management/configuration management and continuous integration engineers who incorporate innovation as a major part of their deliverables. The selected candidate will be able to identify operational patterns and issues, and creatively automate solutions working with different internal engineering teams, business stakeholders, and understand external requirements to create impactful, scalable and resilient solutions. The candidate will implement and manage CI/CD tools and monitor metrics to drive continuous improvement. The person in this role must have a broad base of technical and business understanding as well as the attention to detail to transform a strategy into an actionable plan. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge to understand the technology trends and connect those to solve business challenges and actively mentor others in the company on these technologies and processes.
