Job description
Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for Project Manager opportunities for our customers in Pueblo, CO and Bluegrass (Richmond), KY.

Job Description:

Seeking Project Managers for design, fabrication, installation, and operation of technical facilities and equipment to process hazardous materials. The position will report to a senior Project Manager responsible for multiple projects.

The Project Manager position is responsible for safe and compliant performance. The position requires approximately 25% travel from the assigned location. Travel may be in the United States and/or Europe. The assignment may be located in Alabama, Kentucky, or Colorado. This is a full-time position with the expectation to meet all client requirements.

Project Management Skills:

The Project Manager will be required to interface with senior client representatives on a routine basis to communicate the direction and status of the project.
Must have ability to effectively engage with the client and other stakeholders with excellent verbal and written capabilities is essential.
Required to manage scope, cost, and schedule for each project. Must be skilled at developing and presenting milestone and execution level schedules, status updates, and recovery plans.
Microsoft Project and/or Primavera capabilities may be utilized based on client requirements.
Must have ability to develop sound logic, estimate resource demands, and establish activity durations will be required. This is a fast-paced project with an established no-later-than completion date.
Requires an in-depth technical background with the ability to interface with senior engineers and other technical managers in all industrial disciplines.
Requires the ability to understand basic industrial mechanical and chemical processes.
Will be expected to interface with State and Federal Environmental Regulators.
Environmental management skills, particularly in permitting and emissions monitoring would be beneficial.
Once operational, the projects will be required to demonstrate all environmental requirements through testing prior to hazardous material processing.
Will be responsible for establishing and executing all startup and commissioning activities prior to the operations phase of the project.
All facilities and equipment will be required to demonstrate minimum availability capabilities established to meet production goals.
The Project Manager will be a member of the management team responsible for operational performance. Client resources will operate all facilities and equipment.
