Job description
Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Assurance Engineer/Certified NQA-1 Lead Auditor opportunity for our customer in Oak Ridge, TN for the Uranium Processing Facility Project (UPF) at the Y-12 National Security Complex.

Position Overview:
•        Provide support and subject matter expertise in the prepare, conduct, and reporting for UPF CNS QA assessments.
•        Assessment preparations to include completion of required training or assessment team indoctrination, proof of auditor qualification, and development of assessment scoping documents and checklists as assigned.
•        Assessment will include conducting and documenting interviews and reviews of objective evidence and assisting in the determination of assessed area procedure compliance and implementation effectiveness, and participate in assessment team meetings (e.g., audit entrance, daily, and exit meetings). Will also provide regular input on results of assessment including identification of noncompliances or conditions adverse to quality requiring prompt action. Will provide report input, review of final report, and assistance with communication or clarification of any identified assessment findings.

•        Certified NQA-1 Lead Auditor
•        Associate's degree with a minimum of 4-7 years of related experience, training, and/or progressive, relevant experience at a DOE facility.
