Expected salary range of $142,200 to $178,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Commercial Business Solutions Team is responsible for driving continuous improvement and excellence through analysis and delivery of initiatives that move the organization forward and align with the larger strategic business objectives. Identify best practices through process, business & system analysis and implement solutions that can then be deployed and owned by the business. Lead data conversion and testing assurance for Capital and O&M projects and initiatives. Lead and manage spend, priority, governance and oversight of technology investments and the Retail Roadmap to ensure alignment with Retail strategy. Partner with IT to deliver technology solutions This role reports up through Commercial Operations and supports all business lines, commodities and functional areas throughout the organization with a focus on Retail.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Le ad a geographically dispersed team of individual contributors and Supervisors as it relates to: 

  • Capital projects 
  • O&M projects 
  • Ongoing system enhancements 
  • Overarching infrastructure changes 
  • Process mapping and identification of improvement opportunities
  • Transformation projects Team(s) include focus and centers of excellence around: 
  • Data Governance
  • Data stewardship and manipulation to demonstrate data as an organizational asset ? Business Readiness / Testing Leadership ? test planning and execution that leverages best-in-class tools ? Business Analysis ? accountability of one or many functional areas as it relates to process mapping, prioritization of efforts and business analysis ? Business Solution Design ? ownership and identification of best-in-class solutions to solve business challenges and needs ? Project Management ? PMO ? ownership of all projects executed by Retail ? Solutions Analysis ? design and development of long-term, scalable technical solutions ? Governance & Project Oversight ? ownership and accountability for Retail strategy execution and analysis of fiscal investments ? Business Scalability ? design and development of technical solutions that drive immediate business impact
  • Establish, build and ensure a clear, strategic direction of one or many functional practices that allow for efficiencies and scalability to meet the needs of Power, Gas, Distributed Energy and Mass Markets business lines
  • Build and drive a culture focused on the needs & strategic direction of the business that is supported by ITAct as a Demand Manager for the assigned business line or function by prioritizing efforts across Retail and articulating a compelling strategy that demonstrates a clear understanding of business line objectives
  • Partner with the business to ? ? Define and establish scalable processes and best practices ? Demonstrate a consistent ROI for all initiatives and projects ? Demonstrate fiscal accountability and cultural leadership at the commercial level ? Define and execute change management strategies ? Design and develop technical solutions that solve business needs ? Identify and prioritize work streams to ensure each business line has a process and system tools enabled to meet or exceed financial targets
  • Process Improvement /SWAT Team ? Lead process improvement projects associated with high profile process inefficiencies and/or new initiatives currently not imbedded in day-to-day operations

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of both the retail and wholesale business
  • 5+ years experience within Constellation Energy and/or the energy sector
  • 5+ years managing teams and/or projects
  • Bachelors degree or higher and minimum of 10 years relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Managerial courage
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically
  • Demonstrated success in establishing senior-level relationships and networks
  • Superior and proven ability to influence, build alignment and partner across the organization
  • Experience with leading change management efforts associated with large capital projects
  • Project Management experience
  • Proven ability to lead a team with multiple employees in remote locations
  • Ability to bring stakeholders from various departments within the company together to gain alignment on sensitive issues
  • Ability to communicate business needs effectively to the IT department
