N12095411 - Product Trainer 2 - CONFIDENTIAL CLEARANCE REQUIRED – Newport News, VA – 12 Month Contract

ReNuke Services Inc., is seeking a Product Trainer with Fabrication skills, ability to teach at all levels, and prior U.S. Navy Nuclear propulsion plant experience. Confidential Clearance is Required.

Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
•        Candidates submitted must have prior Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plant experience. Preferably who have served in the U.S. Navy or have Primary Trades / Inspector Shipbuilding experience with Nuclear Quality Control, Reactor / Steam Plant piping system / component cleanliness work.
•        Facilitation skills
•        Ability to teach at all levels
•        Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, and PPT.

The dept is looking for candidates with an instructional background or prior Trades specialist. Prior experience as Nuclear Trade Foreman, Nuclear Inspector with deck plate experience in Nuclear Quality Control, Reactor & Steam Plant Cleanliness requirements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Apprentice School graduate and 3 years related exempt level experience.
High School and 8 years of related trade experience.
Master’s Degree and 1 year related exempt experience.
Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School could be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

All candidates MUST have experience in Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) conducting Nuclear Quality Control (NQC), Reactor, and Steam Plant Cleanliness Classroom, Practical, & Deck Plate Embedded Instructor Training. Preferred Qualifications - Instructional Background, Trades Specialist, prior experience as Nuclear Trade foreman, Nuclear Inspector with deck plate experience in NQC, Reactor or Steam Plant cleanliness requirements.
