Provide technical direction and guidance to renewable fleet operations.  The position involves system and equipment troubleshooting, design changes, root cause analysis, conditioning monitoring system, environmental and regulatory compliance support, performance monitoring, major component tracking and defining outage work and maintenance priorities.  Disciplines include: Wind turbine generator, hydraulic system, PLC controls, Gearbox, wind turbine blade, rotating equipment, I&C, electrical/electronics.  Other duties may include climbing wind turbines and work in adverse weather condition. 




- Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance

-Perform/Support QA/QC for turbine operations or end of warranty

-Perform/Support blade drone inspection and thermal inspection

-perform data analysis to have optimum turbine performance and availability< /p>

-Review component investigation reports and troubleshooting efforts from operation service provider

-Review gearbox borescope inspection and vibration monitoring system reports

-Provide system / component troubleshooting and root cause analysis investigation

-Define outage work scope and assemble engineering work packages as necessary

-Alert site personal on turbine condition based conditioning monitoring, oil analysis and greases analysis reports

-Provide feedback to Predix (smart turbine analysis) alerts by concerning site personal

-Works with central based Program and Reliability Engineers towards improving system and component reliability and cost effectiveness

-Prepare capital project justification, installation oversight, and acceptance testing oversight

-Interface with plant asset OEM's to optimize equipment material condition and incorporate recommendations

-Prepare reports, procedures, proposals and all other duties as required/assigned 



- BS in Engineering with 2+ years professional experience

- Knowledge of applicable discipline codes and standards

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal

- Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products   


- PE License

- MS or MBA

- Process Historian (PI), Work Management Systems (Passport), and CAD experience


- Advisor role

- No direct reports
