Job description
Role Summary:
The Decommissioning and Dismantlement (DD) Project Manager for GEH Decommissioning Services is responsible for project management and execution for GEH customers based on business commitments and contract deliverables. In this role, you will manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:
As the Decommissioning & Dismantlement Project Manager, your essential responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Execute projects, providing leadership to cross functional internal teams and interface with customers, where applicable
Be responsible for project financial performance including cost control and delivery of margin
Responsible for client and subcontractor invoice review and approvals
Be responsible for project schedule performance, including managing internal deliverables and supplier/vendor deliverables to meet GEH commitments
Support site walkdowns, determine appropriate technical approach and develop cost and schedule estimates
Provide input and support to the D&D Product Line Leader, product line information and commercial information for GEH/PGS Sales professionals; identification of supply chain and business partner candidates to enhance technology portfolio; identification of customer needs and market entry strategies for new D&D opportunities
Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Description of ideal candidate
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear services and D&D or a minimum of 10 years of experience in nuclear services and D&D; experience must include prior experience as a Project Manager during plant shutdown, post-operations, D&D planning, and D&D operations
Must be willing to relocate as required
Ability and willingness to pass Fitness for Duty requirements and site security requirements to obtain unescorted access to nuclear plant sites

Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated Executive level communications and presentations skills
Demonstrated Team leadership of cross functional, local, remote and union staff
BWR, PWR and other LWR D&D industry experience
Ability to start immediately upon hire (within 30 days)
Strong decision-making skills, self-starter and highly organized administrative skills
Proven leadership capabilities with ability to motivate others and achieve results
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong presentation and computer skills
Six Sigma and Black Belt Certified (GE employees only)
