Contract Position
Duration (-/+) 12 Months
Location- Columbus, OH
Responsible for cost analysis and scheduling support for complex and large projects and programs in a safe, efficient and economical manner. Provide cost analysis and scheduling support in project initiation, execution, monitoring and control, and close-out functions including earned value analysis and reporting to the management team. Provide leadership in the assessment and audit of project management and project controls performance. Work with other business units to assist in creating program management center of excellence guidelines that align with their goals and objectives. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Provide cost analyst and scheduling support in the preparation of periodic project cost and schedule control reports including validating and reconciling actual and incurred costs and hours, analyzing progress to date and making recommendations as to forecasted cost and schedule projections while meeting critical deadlines. 2. Review, Coordinate, and execute the project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff. Perform coordination role as assigned to increase awareness in all knowledge areas of project plans. Effectively communicate project/program details and status updates. Provide clear and concise written and oral reports and other communication. 3. Establish conflict management skills to provide solutions to issues that maximize synergies with an overriding goal to do the "right thing" for the company. Learn to take independent action and know when to elevate an issue. Be able to align delivery expectations with all stakeholders. 4. Provide cost analyst and scheduling support in the development, organization and setup of new projects with respect to Work Orders, Tasks, and Project Breakdown Structure in accordance with established applicable Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. 5. Create and conduct program level reporting and analysis using work management data systems (such as Primavera Project Planner, Prism, and Business Objects). Be able to forecast team budget burn and project budget spend. 6. Perform project assessments and audits of project cost and schedule control performance as directed and/or scheduled. 7. Work within the established project management center of excellence process guideline that aligns with the Business Unit’s goals and objectives

Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management/Technology or related field of study. Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in project management or project controls related role.
