Job description
BHI is currently recruiting for a Mechaical Work Planner for an opportunity at Millstone Nuclear Facility.

Qualifications: - Able to plan the most complex of work assignments and all aspects of the job using wide knowledge of the field and mastery (ANSI, ASTM, ASME III/ASME XI RR), weld plans, Work control processes, piping and heat exchanger work planning, Design package information, skill and/or abilities that provides subject matter authority and superior command in a particular job) of the subject matter. Particular emphasis and experience required on project related planning of a complex nature. Must be capable of handling and prioritizing multiple activities to support core planning function and ongoing field support for parts and changes. Makes decisions independently -Provides assistance, advice, and solutions to peers, customers, and co-workers - Identifies and implements better work alternatives and business processes. Requires strong verbal and written communications; time management; organizational skills. Computer proficiency in Maximo, Visio, Word, Excel and SAP. As the technical expert, prepares automated work order packages, researches maintenance history and design documents, identifies steps for work orders and creates stock codes/material numbers for parts to ensure completion of work orders in strict compliance to design requirements.

Prepares ASME Section XI RR plans and develops weld plan in accordance with station procedures. Conducts walk-downs to verify engineering documents, locate equipment, or assess plant conditions. Obtains and reviews vendor manuals, drawings and procedures and researches vendor sources. Interfaces with First Line Supervisors, engineers, craft, procurement personnel and vendors to clarify issues regarding scope, hazards involved, materials, and testing requirements. Expect to be assigned multiple projects in various phases of completion on a routine basis.

Benefits and Other Informations:
Associate degree and/or demonstrated 10-12 years of related experience in their craft discipline (mechanical) and/or nuclear operations desired. Millstone experience is a plus but not required.
