Job description
Responsible for handling processes for new hires and for terminated employees by handling badges, paperwork, training, and other related tasks.

1. Review Starts Report Daily and check in any employees into OutageNet once they arrive.
2. Create a Requisition in Empact for the new hires coming in to get badged.
3. Create New Hire/Rehire folder for incoming employees.
4. Meet new arrivals on their first day and process all paperwork, getting copies of ID and voided checks.
5. If eligible for Travel Pay, have the employee complete the form and enter in OutageNet.
6. Administer the PAI, if needed, and set up interview with the doctor.
7. Process the employee through Badging and FFD and ensure they report to training for any CBT.
8. Set up for any practicals needed.
9. Fill out page 2 of the I-19 Form and send in all complete paperwork to the ESC.
10. Once the access badge is ready, escort the employee for fingerprints and TLD issuance. Make sure the employee receives PPE and hand off to their Supervisor.
11. Point of contact for HR documents and questions from craft (benefits, per diem, 401k, etc.).
12. Lead Employee Action Review meeting, when required.
13. Complete Change of Status forms for all promotions or title changes. Send to the ESC.
14. Complete SAP-1313 “Station In-processing” when employees leave and terminate employees in OutageNet.
15. Drop the individual from the requisition in Empact and make sure their badge is deactivated.
16. Escort employee to the gate and obtain their badge and parking pass and return them to Security.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and/or hands. The employee is required to don the appropriate personal protective equipment while traversing an industrial environment requiring various degrees of protection.

An ideal candidate will have previous nuclear experience. Must be able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. Must be a good role model, act professionally at all times, and obey the safety program. Must be available for shift work if needed. Ability to work at varying heights, cramped quarters, extreme heat and/or extreme cold, and loud (above 89 decibels) environments required. Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior, integrity and trust. Knowledge of BHI Energy processes and procedures and utilization of developed tools to most effectively manage work is essential. Must actively demonstrate the BHI company values and support the BHI Ethics and Standards. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a working knowledge of BHI and client technical manuals and procedures; to pass BHI and client specific training and qualifications as required; subject to personnel call out as required in support of nuclear station emergent work requirements; to work overtime, to include shift work, weekends, and holidays as needed; and be able to pass all background and screening requirements for the position, to include drug and/or alcohol screening.
