Expected salary range of $141,300 to $157,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Assess the performance of line organizations to industry excellence using the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Performance Objectives & Criteria (PO&C) and management expectations as guidance. Development of assessment strategic plans, schedules, and conduct observations to determine gaps to excellence in the Midwest region. Evaluate technical and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) programs including Dosimetry, Respiratory Protection, ALARA evaluations, exposure reduction strategies, procedure implementation. Plans and leads assessment activities in a specific area, function, or process. Reviews assessment results to evaluate adequacy of programs and implementation effectiveness. Determine if an assessment gaps to excellence based on the INPO PO&C should be issued. Evaluates and analyzes performance issues to provide input and assist in making determinations on performance ratings and trajectories. When not performing assessments, assist with corporate radiation protection (RP) specialist responsibilities. This position typically is a line rotational assignment and as such may be used for supervisory/managerial development.
