Expected salary range of $121,500 to $135,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position serves at the program owner for the company’s records, data governance and information management/protection and privacy programs, with focus on Records Retention, Management Model, Information Protection, Merger Commitments.
  • Administers the company’s corporate Records and Information Management program to ensure the company meets internal and external requirements, deadlines and adherence to the program.
  • Assists in conducting periodic assessments and audits of Records and Information Management program.
  • Provides guidance and support to the business on best practices for tracking, storage, retention, retrieval and destruction of physical records and documents consistent with corporate Records and Information Management policy, state and federal regulatory requirements, and other agency guidelines.
  • Establishes and maintains procedures and databases for filing, effective classification and cross referencing of controlled corporate records.
  • Analyzes, evaluates efficiency and makes recommendations for improvements in electronic document control systems and provides records-related requirements and standards for implementation of those systems.
  • Develop and implement a sustainable program to create, update, and maintain Management Model documentation as applicable to changing processes and regulations.
  • Apply and utilize proper technology resources to meet project needs. Remain current on the status and future direction of technology externally and internally and consult with Legal, IT and other business functions regarding strategic use of information technology to achieve records management strategies and objectives. Consult with Legal, IT and other business functions regarding new application or application enhancement requests, and make recommendations regarding same.
  • Develop and enhance data governance controls and framework to manage and coordinate data policies and practices.
  • Administers the company’s process for tracking and ensuring compliance with commitments agreed upon during merger approval proceedings to ensure the company remains compliant with its merger obligations.
  • Enters all identified commitments into Merger Commitment Tracking (MCT) system.
  • Provide day to day analytical and tactical support for corporate records and information management program.
  • Enforce records management policies and deliver training in records and information management procedures.
  • Develop and coordinate implementation of ERMP performance indicators to ensure that designated Records Managers and Records Administrators adhere to records management policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.
  • Works with legal counsel and senior leadership to assign business owners for each identified commitment.
  • Drafts project plans for each identified commitment and facilitates review and approval of each project plan by the executive owner and legal counsel.
  • Performs review of status updates to ensure accuracy and clarity of supporting documentation.
  • Performs follow up with business owners and business leads for insufficient status reporting or documentation.
  • Assesses status reports and determines tracking indicators for commitments that are trending off-track.
  • Prepares and delivers monthly status report to the General Counsel and other senior executives.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization
  • Effective analytical skills combined with strong written and verbal skills
  • Skills in Microsoft Access and/or SQL database query development
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel to various locations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Records Management, Library Science, Information Management or related business discipline and 3-years of practical experience in managing
