Over the past ten years, Constellation has invested?more than $7.1 billion?in capital across its nuclear fleet to support continued safe, reliable operations and long-term license extensions. Of that total, approximately?$3.3 billion?has been invested in Illinois facilities. Looking ahead, Constellation is planning?multi-billion-dollar investments between 2025 and 2030?focused on the continued operation, licensing, and performance of the Illinois nuclear fleet. These investments are distinct from major growth projects such as extended power uprates or turbine replacements and are centered on sustaining the existing fleet at world-class standards. These investments support high-skilled jobs, local tax bases, grid reliability, and long-term affordability while avoiding the cost overruns and risks often borne by ratepayers under monopoly utility buildouts.
