We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
Dominion Energy Virginia?s Electric Transmission ? Substation Engineering group is seeking motivated and detail-oriented engineers and technical specialists to join the Protection & Control (P&C) Design team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining critical protection and control design packages that support the safe and reliable operation of the electric grid (11kV?500kV).
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, demonstrates attention to detail in design documentation, and is capable of working collaboratively across multiple engineering disciplines. Candidates should be comfortable developing technical design packages, applying engineering standards, and supporting projects from concept through detailed design.

Associate Engineer : 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience
Engineer : 2+ years of of relevant engineering experience
Engineering Technical Specialist I : 0-2 years of relevant work experience in a technical role with a preferred Bachelor?s Degree (Or 2 years of relevant work experience in a technical role with an Associate Degree)
Engineering Technical Specialist II : 2+ years of relevant work experience in a technical role with a preferred Bachelor?s Degree (Or 5 years of relevant work experience in a technical role with an Associate Degree)

Note: Dominion Energy minimum experience and education requirements may exceed stated ANSI standards and candidates must meet the Dominion Energy minimum requirements.
For Nuclear employees, this ANSI standard must be met, all of which is met or exceeded in the Engineer series job summaries with the exception of the Nuclear Power experience requirement of at least 1 year:
ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014, Section 4.6.1 Education requirements: Baccalaureate or associate degree in engineering or related science. Minimum experience for the position: Related experience which shall include 2 years; Nuclear power plant experience to include 1 year.
