Pay rate: $42.02 per hour

Primary Purpose of Position

General repairs, remodeling, and maintenance in all Buildings, Temporary Structures, and Service Building. Includes working with electrical, plumbing, carpentry services, HVAC, welding, lawn mowing, snow removal, and scaffold work.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Conduct construction activities such as painting, masonry, plumbing, snow removal, grounds maintenance, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, pay loaders, skid steers, and other machinery as required.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 3 years of trade/construction experience (carpentry or plumbing)
  • OR Certified Journeyperson
  • OR equivalent experience in a related field such as Pipefitter, Boilermaker, Carpenter, Electrician, HVAC, or Millwright
  • Ability to work back shifts and weekends
  • Ability to obtain and maintain nuclear site unescorted access
  • Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position
  • Must pass a validated aptitude test
  • Must meet requirement of NRC psychological testing regulations
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Any modification mandated by law or regulation enacted by a governmental agency that affects either the duties or qualifications of this position will become a part of this job specification
