Expected salary range of $134,100 to $149,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for independently performing and coordinating increasingly complex technical work in support of artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled solutions, automation, data-informed process improvements, and digital tools that advance Constellation business objectives and operations. This role applies experienced technical judgment to evaluate requirements, develop and test solutions, resolve issues, make sound recommendations, and implement improvements with limited supervision. The role supports the continued adoption of AI within Constellation Generation by identifying practical opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, improve worker efficiency, and enhance consistency. The role partners with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology partners to lead or support requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, adoption, monitoring, and ongoing improvement while making decisions within established safety, security, governance, regulatory, and responsible AI expectations.

 

Primary Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Independently perform and coordinate assigned technical work, applying experienced engineering judgment to AI-enabled solutions, automation, data analysis, workflow improvement, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and PowerBI reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Evaluate and assure AI, automation, data, and engineering products are prepared in accordance with applicable safety analyses, regulatory requirements, cyber security standards, data governance expectations, responsible AI guidance, and approved business processes; identify risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions or improvements.
  • Lead or support the development, implementation, deployment, adoption, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions, Copilot agents, workflow automations, and related digital tools, determining appropriate technical approach and level of detail in compliance with established policies, procedures, and governance expectations.
  • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, engineering personnel, Information Technology, cyber security, data governance, and compliance partners to define needs, resolve issues, make recommendations, and ensure solutions are practical, maintainable, secure, and aligned with Constellation standards; drive format, methodology, process, or usability improvements to standard tools, workflows, and procedures.
  • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering or related degree with 5 years related experience,

    OR

  • Associate’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering or related degree with 7 years related experience,

        OR

  • High school diploma/GED with 9 years related experience
  • 5 years’ experience with artificial intelligence, automation, and data-related concepts and tools, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt design, data quality, Python, SQL, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and other low-code solutions.
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Certifications for Microsoft Power Platform or Azure.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Exposure to power plants, energy, utility, industrial, or other highly regulated operating environments.
