Job description
Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for Risk Management Support opportunities for our customer in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Site.

Title: Support Site Risk Assessment and Performance Analysis with Risk Management Expertise

Work Location / Potential Access Requirements: The Subcontractor will provide support as necessary in the Federal Building, 825 Jadwin, Richland, WA or as directed by SRA&PA management and/or the BTR. Work to be performed on-site.

INTRODUCTION / BACKGROUND
Site Risk Assessment and Performance Analysis (SRA&PA) organization delivers integrated project management that allows DOE to make informed decisions through alignment and integration of technical and financial data. SRA&PA provides the support and expertise necessary to optimize the cleanup mission lifecycle, which enables DOE-RL to achieve successfully the Hanford end state vision.
The SRA&PA organization requires the services of a Subcontractor to provide a Risk Management expert with significant experience in reviewing and developing a Portfolio Risk Management and Coordination Plan.

OBJECTIVE
The subcontractor will assist the SRA&PA organization in developing a comprehensive Portfolio Risk Management and Coordination Plan that describes the processes essential to managing risk associated with the Hanford Life Cycle Cleanup Baseline.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
•        A bachelor’s degree or higher in a business, project management, technical, or scientific field
•        A minimum of 15 years of direct technical experience supporting Department of Energy (DOE) and/or DOE prime contractors in the development of Risk Management, or Coordination Plans
•        Proven direct Risk Management experience supporting Department of Energy Independent Project Reviews (IPR) or External Independent reviews (EIR)
•        Proven advanced knowledge with DOE G 413.3-7A, Risk Management Guide requirements, and knowledge of the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management Standing Operating Policies and Procedures (SOPP) #92, Risk Management for the Environmental Management Cleanup Program

DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFIC
Provide the Mission Support Alliance (MSA) SRA&PA organization with Risk Management expertise to support the development of a Portfolio Risk Management and Coordination Plan as follows:

•        Develop a comprehensive compliance matrix for each element of Risk Management using DOE G 413.3-7A, Risk Management Guide, U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management Standing Operating Policies and Procedures (SOPP) #92, Risk Management for the Environmental Management Cleanup Program, and the EM Protocol for the Application of Contingency and Management Reserve,” Memorandum from Dae Chung, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management, dated May 14, 2010.
•        Provide processes and input to coordinate and develop a Portfolio Risk Management, and Coordination Plan in accordance with task 1.
•        Provide processes and input towards development of a cross-reference checklist to support internal/external reviews.
•        Provide comment resolution from Department of Energy, and Other Hanford Contractors.
•        Provide to the BTR and Contract Specialist weekly reports outlining the performance activities and approximate hours associated with each activity.


Site Access and Work Hours
Hanford personnel at the Hanford Site work a standard 4/10 schedule. The standard work week consists of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 am and 4:30 pm, with one-half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch, Monday through Thursday. Work performed outside normal operating hours shall be coordinated and/or approved through the BTR and/or the Contract Specialist prior to performing the work.
