Job description
BHI is currently recruiting for a Communications Specialist (Part-Time) for a contract opportunity in Jackson, MS.

Local Candidates only. PART TIME / 2 - 3 days per week (8 hours per day)

Looking for a candidate that has more corporate communications and very strong writing experience and hopefully it would be coupled with Adobe Creative Suite experience (particularly InDesign).

Job Duties:
Coordinates, writes, edits and produces employee and external communications products in support of the fleet. Includes facility improvement efforts; plant, fleet, industry and company initiatives, photography, video, presentations, leadership communications, and other related communications responsibilities. Will work alongside other communications professionals in Jackson and across the company to assist with communications plans for fleet and site leaders, as well as other internal and external projects. Must be proficient in developing creative presentations in partnership with senior leadership. Will serve as backup to existing communications team members, including those in facilities.
• Good writer, presenter
• Experience with graphics, video, photography
• Team player
• Strong work ethic
• 2-3 full days per week
* Prefer 3-5 years experience.
* Education - Bachelor's degree in related Communications or Journalism preferred but not required.
