Have you contacted any of the people in those posts? While they may have been posted awhile back the nice thing about them being there is that it's an easy single source of information for lodging. Most who post there rent the same places every refuel.

These posts are years old. I have a very nice waterfront 2/1 in Key Largo. Walk to fishing docks, tiki bar, Dunkin Donuts, Walgreens, banks etc. I have rented to Turkey Point contractors for many years. It is more expensive than living by the plant but your view is waterfront, not pavement and its safe.. 2/1 1500 sq ft. we can talk about price. Be great for 2 to share.. Im at MM 100.. Clean and refreshing. Homestead is the least safe county in Florida! call me at 305-522-1927 I am a safe all concrete home

There are a few hotels that take dogs,resonable rates if your working the outages, just show ID badge,believe it is less then $50.per day,one is Hampton Inn (305)247-8833, there is also a trailer park on Biscayne Drive (288th St) and 132 Ave. next to Air Base that offers low cost temp.trailers w/pets. Many who work outages stay there,it is secure w/guard at gate, mostly older folks live there during year.Many offer rooms within their homes during outages & post notices on boards at the plant.

I have 2 beautiful and super clean furnished apartments . Very convenient location just off US 1 in a safe area. Both are 1 bedroom/1 bath. The smaller one (which is actually quite large) with kitchenette is $1,600 per month and the larger one with full kitchen and interior laundry room is $1,800. They are not in a busy apartment complex. It's a large house that was divided into 2 completely separate, private and individual living units. There is a beautiful tropically landscaped yard , screened porch with brick barbecue and safe ample parking inside gated area. Please feel free to call for more info or to check on availability.
