Hello Folks!

I'm an in house I&C Technician at Watts Bar.  My Dad has been a Carpenter for 20+ years, and recently did a ton of work for TVA at Widows Creek Fossil Plant.  He has been told that he's on the list for Bellefonte's contract that's coming up in the Spring, but it keeps getting pushed back...

If any of you have any contacts for Contract Work in the South East, I'll be forever in your debt.

Thanks for any possible help, and or tips to help my Dad get a job...

1 more question to add.

On Bartlett's site, under Brown's Ferry, and a couple others, they say that their staff is filled, but they are accepting "back-up" lists.

Is this worth his time?  How common do they work down the lists?

Thanks, and sorry for the stupid question, but I'm completely new to the Contractor side of the house!

I'd say get on their list.  In my experience, there are usually a couple of no-shows, so anyone willing to travel on short notice can staff in at the last minute...
We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner! I can’t think what anybody sees in them.      - B. Baggins
