Im a JR hp Core certified 40 haz with a 2 year degree and about 3 months in the field exp. Im also a husband and father with another on the way. I dont want to be a road tech does anyone have any advice on how to get in to a more permenit gig to help push toward my SR ??  I d be very greatful for any help!

You might contact the Navy shipyards or Newport News. They hire people with your background and put them through training programs. If you have the patience to stick with it you will complete the program with the qualifications to work at any commercial plant as a senior.
