Potential AO Postion
« on: Aug 23, 2011, 05:24 »
Hey guys,

I had an interview at Dominion (Kewaunee) almost three weeks ago for an AO position.  There were only 3 of us interviewed for 1 position.  I passed the POSS test as well.  The only problem: I have not heard back from anyone.  I called the head HR recruiter last week, and she had said that some of the hiring team was on vacation and that had been why I have not heard from them regarding a potential job offer/denial.  Anybody know what to think of this?  Am I still in the running?

Call again. And keep calling until they tell you something.

3 people interviewed for 1 AO position? Where did you get THAT information...  Just doesnt make any kind of sense to me.

Anyway, squeaky wheel gets the grease. I had to wait a few weeks as well, and in my follow ups, my manager WAS on vacation as well.

Exelon seems to have a "if we dont call you, you're not hired and we wont say why". Id, at the very least, push to talk to someone to find out WHY you didnt get hired, and then do what you can to change that. Hopefully you get hired, but Id suggest keeping on looking. These places seem to be finicky...
