 I have to be interviewed by the shrink Friday to see if I can get badged. I have had unescorted access twice but have since gotten a public intoxication charge (11 months ago). Also have a DUI from 2 years ago but they have badged me twice since then. Anyone gone through something similar or have an idea what my chances are?

Sounds like a case of 'Fooled me once shame on you..." well, you know the rest.

One alcohol related incident is often considered as "It's a legal substance and maybe he just made a mistake." Twice, and its habitual. I wish you luck, but I can't imagine you getting a badge without documentation of an Alcohol rehab program, even if you think you don't need it. (Perhaps particularly if you don't think you need it.)

 That may verywell be the way they feel too, I guess I'll have to wait and see. Btw I quit drinking 8 months ago no rehab needed, but with the two alcohol related offenses I can understand thinking I might need it.

It has nothing to do with what I think. You will probably need it just to prove that you don't need it... get it?
