Houses would be individual power plants, National Labs, and NSA sites.

The Railroads could be waste disposal sites

Cards could include PAAA violations or reactor scrams costing the utilities money, Long plant run times or early project completion for other facilities giving the companies money.

Utilities could be the major plant operating companies, operating companies for DOE/NSA sites and vendor suppliers.

Clearly Boardwalk would be Broadzilla Avenue.

Maybe Baltic would be Broadzilla Ave - I think that Boardwalk would be Rennhack...

Instead of Railroads - Exelon, Southern, Entergy, Duke, etc
Electric Co / Water Works = INPO & NRC
Free Parking = overtime
GO = per diem...
Chance = Inspection
Community Chest = public hearings
Jail = NRC took the keys
make systems be many of the properties - group related systems together as color group

But really - a Nukeworker Monopoly wiould definately have Rennhack as Boardwalk....

Community Chest would be "Interveners" and Chance would be "Rate Case"

Worse, "GO TO IN-PROCESSING. Do Not Pass Gate. Do Not Collect Per diem until complete."

in-processing is temporary,...

training,...like jail,...is always out there, always a buzzkill, always the place you don't want to be, and always in the back of your mind,...

You seem to have sparked an interest. What are the chances you will have one made? How much?

Instead of Railroads - Exelon, Southern, Entergy, Duke, etc

that might work,...

Electric Co / Water Works = INPO & NRC

nope, I have nothing better (yet) but I'll ponder it,...

Free Parking = overtime

Free Parking definitely = "Safety Award",...

GO = per diem...

that's another difficult one, more like GO = DFR

Chance = Inspection

that's pretty good,...

Community Chest = public hearings

that one sounds like a personal problem,... :P ;) :) 8)

Jail = NRC took the keys

it's all commercial power slanted in your world, didja notice that?!?!?!?

make systems be many of the properties - group related systems together as color group

yeah okay, I was thinking more along the lines of Marlin's 1st post on this thread,...

But really - a Nukeworker Monopoly wiould definately have Rennhack as Boardwalk....

not even having a dog in that fight,... 8)

How about property sets be sets of plants from different utilities?  The three property sets would be 3 plants from the same utility.  2 property sets from a smaller utility.

Hmmmm.....  I do like where this is going.

The utilities could also be your local solid and liquid waste disposal facilities which require refunding each time you land on em ???

You obviously have been in one place a long time. In processing is a constant.

I think of training as a vacation, not a buzzkill.

Funny this started at 2:45 PM!  Normally nuke wait until 2:45 AM, middle/late part of night shift (mid-watch for the Navy types) to start talking goofy.

PS I would make the houses and hotels be units, buy 4 units and then you can upgrade to an AP 1000 "Hotel"
Being adept at being adaptable I look forward to every new challenge!

Gaming tokens:

Old                               New

Top Hat                         Hard Hat
Battleship                      CVN
Thimble                          Laptop
Horse with rider               Catering truck
Racecar                         Pickup with RV attached

last but not least

Yorkie now cat                Pug  :)

Wouldn't that hotel have paprer walls since no AP 1000s exist in the US? :)

They will someday....but to have the gaming token closely replicate the AP1000s, it has to have a foundation base thick on one end and thin on the other, tilting perhaps

You wouldn't be playing, you're a non qual.

Off topic.  Stop the new guy bashing already.  And new guy, stop responding to the troll.  Do I have to put you two in a time out chair?  I REALLY don't like to repeat myself.  Ask my kids.

LMAO!!! That is great! But couldn't we somehow fit a DRD into there? Houses  = DRD.   Hotels = ED

Or perhaps...

house      =       PWR hemispherical dome containment, easily recognized by general
                          public and future nuke wannbes

hotel       =       slightly larger than a house, in shape of a forced draft cooling tower.
                         Another familiar shape, and gets players thinking of how-it-works

I know a guy who knows a guy...with a pretty elaborate 3-D printer setup. It would be interesting to prototype some pieces. Heck, there is even a 3-D printer wizard that just did a .45 in Inconel, so we could even go with Inconel pieces (warning: not cheap!)

If everyone comes up with good ideas, somebody will steal the ideas and actually make a game and patent it, if they can get past Milton Bradley.

Look at the link in the OP post - you CAN make your own board. The changes you can make are limited, but you can re-name streets and RR stations
