As we know, Paducah being shuttered is not about creating more dependency on imported uranium.  It's all about eliminating an ancient out-of-date production process (gaseous diffusion).  This is good news for the centrifuge efforts in Ohio. Glad to see Trump pushing for home-grown uranium. On the other end of the spectrum in Ohio, more efforts to kill the 2 nuclear power plants in an upcoming referendum being introduced.  Talking to Ohioans about this topic, there is no democratic or republican lean in who wants this referendum.  They're mostly under-educated folks who just a few dollars removed from their electric bill.  They make no points about carbon-free or pro-natural gas.  The people doing the advertising and pushing the referendum are obviously the natural gas lobby.
