Al Eidson:
VC Summer is out in the sticks, but only 15 or 20 minutes to civilization. The new mall on I-26 has plenty of eating places and some pretty nice. Camping is available 13 miles from the plant at WoodSmoke Family Campground, but it fills up fast. Hope to see Henry there this spring. Al Eidson

HAD A GOOD TIME THERE, HAD SOME GREAT CARD GAMES. THE CARD GAMES WERE BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE THERE.

Overall had a good time there. most of the people were easy to get along with. was kinda hard getting used to going to the can in scrubs, booties and gloves, but maybe i have been away from the comercial side way to long !! either way the drive to work from columbiana was tolerable.

Got a phone calll from a recruiter from SCEG inviting me up for an interview for a Chemistry Specialist opening.
Any insight to this company/position. She did not mention which plant.

The only nuke they own would be VC Summer. I've never been there but have worked with almost all of their HP's and they are awsome! I've never heard a negative comment about the plant either, which considering HP's, that's saying something. :P
