I'd settle for fighting the State of Nevada to allow & approve shipments to Yucca, before considering NW Colorado.  Geologically, it's not any better.

Nuke News / An Ultrahigh Neutrino Detection Makes Waves
« Last post by Marlin on Feb 13, 2025, 12:44 »
Years ago, I read an article about detection of nuclear submarines could be done via neutrino detection if the detectors were small enough. This one seems to fit the bill. Like the SOSUS array that is placed in ocean choke points to monitor for submarines acoustically I would think this may also work. Just a little mental meandering I don't know if it is really practical.

Arizona needs to focus on getting the US' next long-term high level waste storage facility in Douglas, AZ.   Douglas is dead border town that probably survives on tunnel smuggling from Agua Prieta, Mexico.  The copper mines are all played out.  The US needs to lease some Mexico property just east of Douglas and the airport.  Build the facility right on the border and just inside Mexico to evade regulatory hurdles.  Routing Approvals:  The US will have to pay AZ to beef up SR 191 from RTE 10.
