Step one:

(Make sure you are logged into the forum)

Click on the Upload Button, it looks like this:

Step two:

Click on the browse button to locate the files on your computer.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!

Choose the correct "Album" from the Album drop down list.  DO NOT accept the default (probably ANO).

Enter a short title, and a description.
Keywords are optional.
Enter date it was taken, and who should be credited.

Click on the continue button.

Step Three:

Take more pictures, and brag about how you got published on NukeWorker.

Yes I tried to upload a photo to no avail.States >1k.exceeded use.Something like that. These 2 files I was try to upload.Their like 30 to 70 thousand KB ? Whats wrong? Are you sure the photo has to come from my hard drive or my allotted space on the internet? Thanks

Rennhack

As a registered user, you are allowed to upload 1,000 Kb (1 Mb), Gold Members can upload 10,000 Kb (10Mb).

Your files are larger than 1 MB.  There is no reason your image should be bigger than a hundred Kb.  You need to edit your pictures, and save them with a little compression (I suggest about 20%), and a smaller file size (no bigger than 1200 x1200 pixels), and no more than 100 dpi.  We don't need or want 8 Mega Pixel images, it just wastes our hard drive space.  Your images are 30,000 Kb, when it should be more like 80 Kb.

Edit the pictures, compress the pictures, make the pictures smaller.

I just trippled everyone's upload limit

I'm drawing a blank...can't remember how to create a new album...  :(

I've done it before, so can't be too hard...can someone please remind me?

Thanks!  :)

With the list update we did to the software, the menu changed slightly.  It's never been what I'd call intuitive.

If I remember correctly, you have to go into 'administrator mode', then create the album.    Below is a image to help.  Let me know if it works for you.

Thanks, Mike!

I didn't have admin mode (just 'member list') on the "My Gallery" dropdown, but ended up looking at all the other dropdowns and was able to create a new album under 'My Profile".

Now it is teling me 'Disk Quota Exceeded...10000 kb limit, with 80000 kb already used'  (...or words to that affect.)  Any way I can get my 'disk quota' bumped up, or...?

Thanks!  :)

Mike maybe we could have a higher limit for Nukeworker Ambassadors at Large, I am sure people here would love to see UncaBuffalos Pics while over there in the Peace Corp.

Gold members had 10MB, forum admin had 5M.

I tried to upload a few pictures earlier this week.  It let me do everything I usually do, but then I got an error message (maybe something about 'no token assigned', or similar?) as I thought I was finished.

Is there any chance these pictures are still in limbo at your end?  Or should I just try to upload them again?

Thanks!  :)

Okay, I just tried to upload a couple more pictures and got the same error message.  Its actual wording is "Error A valid form token could not be found."

I also discovered that I do find the pictures when I go to Pictures/My Profile/Sort My Pictures, so....?

Is there a way to sort them by date or am I just missing something?

Probably that link only works if you are logged into my account, or the moderator accounts.  Sorry to confuse things...

You could be over your upload limit.

I still think a Nukeworker ambassador should get a higher limit.

Usually I just delete a few old pictures to get under my limit, but now it's not offering 'delete' as an option when I click on my own pictures....?

I'll look into it.  We had another hack attack, and I had to do some stuff in there. I could have messed something up.
