Sr Level - $107,000 - $119,000

 

Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K

Primary Purpose of Position

Implement the standardized Emergency Plan at the Coordinator's assigned Clean Energy Center. Lead, manage, administer and monitor the Constellation emergency preparedness program at the Clean Energy Center.

 

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Program Administration and Maintenance-maintain the Emergency Preparedness activities schedule for the Clean Energy Center.
  • Assessments, Audits and inspections. Provide administration of Emergency Preparedness Corrective Action Program. Perform event reviews and reports. Coordinate Clean Energy Center Performance Improvement indicator data and reports. Review of Plan/Annex/Procedures and Technical &Regulatory Matters documents and 50.54(q)s. Maintain adequate documentation/files to support Emergency Preparedness activities.
  • Drills and Exercises-coordination of the Clean Energy Center drill schedule, Lead and perform Scenario development team activities, perform drill evaluation responsibilities, and develop Clean Energy Center drill reports. Mentor and aid in the development site personnel as Emergency Response Organization members to ensure that Emergency Response Organization performance standards are achieved and embraced.
  • Emergency Response Organization Qualification and Administration-Coordinate, schedule, and conduct Clean Energy Center Emergency Response Organization qualification and re-qualification, oversee the maintenance of Clean Energy Center Emergency Response Organization training records.
  • Facilities and Equipment-direct and perform maintenance of the Technical Support Center and Operations Support Center, coordinate and provide Clean Energy Center support for communication tests perform/coordinate and review the Clean Energy Center Emergency Preparedness inventories.
  • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical) with 3 years of directly applicable professional experience or 5 years of related experience OR
  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator License with 3 years of directly applicable professional experience or 5 years of related experiences
  • Applicable Professional certification (e.g., Licensed Operator, Certified Health Physicist, Certified Emergency Manager) with 5 years of industry experience OR
  • Associates degree in a related field with 7 years of related experience OR
  • High School diploma/GED 8 years of experience in Emergency Preparedness, Operations, Operations Training, Radiation Protection or Regulatory Assurance
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years in Site Emergency Preparedness, Radiation Protection, Ops, Licensing, Training, or Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) Chemistry experience
  • SRO License or Cert
  • Currently or previously certified as a nuclear station instructor under an INPO/ACAD accredited training program
