"56%, barely dixie", not bad for a yankee from the Pacific Northwest! Although I've noticed that my score does go up after I've spent some time in the south, it just doesn't stick.  ;D

Been across the U.S. many times, but live in the South almost all of my life 56% Dixie???

My grandparents would be so proud. All those years in Yankee states (CT, MA, FL) didn't make me lose too much.

87% (Dixie).  Did you have any Confederate ancestors?

53% Dixie. And I am sure I only scored that high because I've gotten to know and work with some people from the south.
I s'pose my score is actually pretty high for a guy from NE Ohio who ran off to the Caribbean for 7 years and then moved to Europe.
Come to think of it, that's about as high a score as I've ever had on one of my German language exams. They have a different word for EVERYTHING here.

49% Yankee.  That what's ya get for living all over the country.  Grew up Yankee, until I was 24 but lived in the South for 6 years and the midwest for  last 7 years.

By the way, that was the results from the questionnaire, not my personal opinion. The incredibly isolated area I am from was reported to have voted to secede from the Confederacy in 1862, but no one cared enough in the Union or Confederacy to check up on it.
