Eberline AMS-3 Upgrade

We still use the Eberline AMS-3 and the problem is that the rustrak recorders are failing.  Does anybody know of a possible upgrade, one that does not involve a direct replacement with the same thing.  I am trying to find a digital paperless recorder that will do the same thing, but i'm not sure if any are compatible.  Has anyone done something similar with their AMS-3?

That is exactly what we did.  We have several of the AMS-4s and now have two of the Bladewerx SabreBPM.
