Another radiography question

Easy one for radiographers. Talking about H&D/sensometric/characteristic curve here  ... wow 3 names for one thing.

Will the characteristic curve for the fine grained film me more to the right side or the left side of the graph?

We covered which films are faster and the relationships between density and the LRE, but not the grain size of the film.

(we did cover that higher KV makes the film have a grainier image but I don't think that is what he is asking here)

He likes to ask questions about things he hasn't spoken on... which bothers me because it affects my grade.
