Ok, to be blunt, many people who are very successful in this industry have tried to get you to understand how you present yourself and the method in which you communicate are important.
For you to do otherwise is simply plain lazy. You are on a site consisting of professionals, some of which you might work for someday. So far your lack of attention to detail on items like language, English, and simple communication do not bode well for your future in this industry.

Actually, with the exception of using a conjunction to start a sentence, it seems to be a cut many other posts from a grammar/spelling/punctuation perspective.

The content I found confusing.  A little context would have helped, I think.

Personally, I think he's asking if he gets accepted into the officer commission program ( i believe his stand point is fresh out of H.S. , so just a regular enlisted), would he have to sign an extension on his contract. His other part is, once being selected for the program and "if" he makes it, are the perks good enough to keep enlisting. I only elaborated for him because, I myself would like to know the answer.

Officers do not re-enlist.  By signing the contract accepting the commission, they agree to serve for a specific period of time.  However, as an enlisted guy accepting a program leading to a commission, your enlistment contract will not be cancelled until you actually get the commission.  And, if you fail to complete the program leading to a commission, you will be expected to complete the enlistment (and possibly beyond) to pay the Navy back for the training you did receive.

My observation is that you have too much time on your hands, are impulsive, and blurt out unclear or ambiguous questions. Stop and think before your type. After you type, review what you have written for clarity, spelling,etc.

This site, as others have noted, is loaded with real players, not wannabes. As a rule, they do not suffer fools very well.

All potential Nukes listen to this advice. There are people who are currently failing entire classes for this very reason. A guy in my class knows the answers to the questions he is asked, but answers in the manner that the original question here was asked. His writing is illegible and sentences lack anything resembling syntax. I strongly reccommend that you start working on it before you get to NNPTC.

You folks are colder than Minot in January - but right on target.  After experiencing the wrath of the moderators I am somewhat puzzled why the PC Police let it fly but I am glad they do.

I suggest to anyone who desires to improve their writing skills that they purchase a copy of Elements of Style by William Strunk.  A short, sweet and funny book that is invaluable to those of us who write for a living, both technical and casual.

This is some sound advice, although I personally haven't read that particular book.  I found that reading through news articles and opinion columns will also help with forming coherent and well written statements.  Not to mention that you might actually learn something.
