This question has been asked of Henry and I on and off for the past several years. Seems we're beating the odds as we've almost made it to 25 years together. I was curious to how many more of you have made a go at a life on the road and kept your partnership together.

Walt Harris

21 years and counting!

Got "hitched" 2 months after hitting the road in 1983.

Like I heard someone on the radio say .... "Divorce has never been an option, .... though on occasion MURDER has come to mind ....."

Truth is, there is probably no one else on the face of the earth that would put up with me.
Dyslexics of the world, UNTIE!

Marlin

23yrs.....Can't see putting another poor woman through retraining me.

Camella Black

Karma to both Marlin and wootler for sticking with it.

klsas

23 plus years. I have to agree with Marlin on the retraining part.

Iowa_HP

Unlike the rest of you, we have made it 6 years and counting. Congrats to all 20+ year couples! In this day and age it is making a statement to commitment to stay married over 10 years!
Update...We were Jr. High sweethearts and apart for 26 years before finding each other again and then deciding to marry...what an amazing world we live in! Karma to everyone!

Showme T. Money

been together for 6 yrs, getting married this month

Me and ratwife have been married over 25 years now  :P , I got married after getting out of the Navy (nuke subs) during my first commercial outage. We traveled together for many years until the rug-rats got old enough for school, then ratwife nested and I went out on outages. I got one in College now and one just turning 16. We are working on getting darkson a truck (I introduced him to the wonders of Bondo).

Congrats! Just wait until darkson is out of house too, then you and ratwife can go back to traveling together. Thats what hubby and I do, of course I go back and forth home cause they (the kids) just can't seem to do without momma.

We started dating in 1976 (sophmore year in high school).  Been together ever since.  We married in 1980 and we have two son's, 21 and 17.  My wife has put up with the road and being house.  I don't think either of us could train another!  ;)

Over 12 years with Catblue! What a ride it has been!
2004 has been the best year yet, but I am looking forward to being able to travel together after all the little Bama fans are out of the house. (This summer was a nice preview!)

While I haven't been a Road Warrior as many of you have been, it'll be 24 years this September.  Though it hasn't been easy I can't imagine going through everything with anyone else.

wolf459

Nineteen years in Dec. My poor but wonderfull wife put up with the navy, shift work at comanche peak, 9 years as a truck mechanics wife (gooy grease and the smell of 80W90 oil) and now time in the desert away from her beloved trees. I really don't deserve such a loving person but I'm glad she puts up with me. :)

Bingo

I'd like to know who has been divorced the most times? :o

red1016

We have been together for 17 yrs. I have not worked in the nuclear field in at least 7 years. He has had to go on the road recently and has caused problems.
