Any way to determine restrictions from an unfavorable termination?

I was charged with multiple felonies ~7 months ago which I can only assume means my unescorted access was terminated rather unfavorably.  Is there any way I can see if there is a "ban" in place whereby I would be categorically denied access to another plant for a certain period of time.  I have seen some people talk about 1 or 3 years bans for different issues, but I never recieved any paperwork telling me I was banned from working nuclear for any period of time.  Also, how much weight is placed on charges that were dismissed?  I was charegd with 3 felonies including both violent and sexual charges, however all I was convicted of was criminal tresspass.  Will security understand the police absurdly trumped up the charges or do they think people who say that are just trying to BS them?

Is it even worth trying to apply at this point?  I am worried if I do and get denied then that will stick with me even longer.  It's just very frustrating because there is no way to know until you have gone through the entire application process and then get denied, but at the same time how can I NOT try since my experience is all in nuclear and I can make far more money doing it than anything else at this point.

Your best bet is to contact access authorization to see where you stand. You can just contact security at whatever plant you were at and see if they can find out for you or give you the number.

Was the criminal trespass charge a felony or misdemeanor charge?

The criminal trespass is a misdemeanor, however I got sentenced to two counts so that they could put me on two years of probation.  Also, this was under the Georgia "first offender" act which means that *technically* it is not a conviction and not supposed to show up on a background check unless you violate the probation.  Does that provide any sort of mitigation or will it be considered the same as a normal conviction?

Being on probation is what will hurt you. The utilities in that region won't really want to give you access until your probation is completed because it would be easily revoked. It's still one of those situations where I would contact security and try to get in touch with access because there are always mitigating circumstances like you said. However, from my experience probation is a no go. Which plant did you get your access revoked from?

I was at Watts Bar working on the Unit 2 completion.  I think the only upside to all this is that the unescorted access only applies to plants after there is fuel on site so the other plants under construction hopefully won't mind.  I have been to Bellefonte and there wasn't any security check to get in the door for example, hopefully Vogtle and VC Summer will be the same way, but who knows since they have operating units nearby.
