Unit Supervisor Position

I just want to start by saying I did search to see if there was an answer to this question and I didn't see one, so I apologize if I missed it.  I have an upcoming interview at Millstone for a Unit Supervisor position.  I'm assuming this means that they are classing up an SRO class.  Before my interview they want me to complete their job application.  One of the questions is my salary requirements.  They have also asked my current and previous salaries.  After doing some research it appears that the average starting salary of an SRO trainee is almost double what I am currently making.  Do I say my salary requirements are the average and risk appearing to ask too much in comparison to what I currently make or do I ask for something else?  Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.

Put down any reasonable number. It honestly doesn't matter.

90-95 would be a safe number to put down. But like BZ said, it doesn't really matter.
