Hurricane Sandy

This thread is dedicated to Hurricane Sandy and its' effects. Please feel free to share anything, as the extent of damage and lives affected will be astronomical.
Nuke plants are required to be shutdown two hours prior to hurricane-force winds reaching site.

I'm interested to see which plants shutdown due to that, and which have a loss of off-site power (LOOP) forced scram. Hopefully the industry's b.5.b./flex programs aren't tested.
Stay safe!

Oyster Creek (New Jersey) declared an alert due to high intake water level and a loss of off-site power. They were already in an outage.
Indian Point (NYC) lost one of their plants due to a load reject.
Nine Mile Point (Oswego, NY) lost one of their plants due to a load reject.
Salem (New Jersey) shut down one unit due to a loss of circ water pumps.
