I applied for a chem tech job and was invited to test.  I have not gotten test results back but, I have no worries about how I did.  I am looking for general advice or tips on interviews and/or whatever hoops lie ahead of me.  Thanks in advance.

If you are willing to learn a lot of new information you will do fine. You have already had the training to deal with all kind of unusual issues at school  (that, will come in handy in the nuclear world). I cross trained from an education background and have been able to survive as an HP for over 35 years.
If you get in be patient and seek out good mentors as there is nothing like gaining experience from those that have already been around the block a few times.

Nukeworker has been extremely helpful.  I have been able to answer tons of questions just by browsing all of the forums.  Thanks to all!

I am now officially going nuts waiting. It's been almost three weeks waiting on a start date.

Cleared for hire!  Still no start date. Waiting on others. Probably going to go to work in July!

Congratulations!  :)
