I wanted to start out by saying that I love reading up on what I am getting myself into with this site. I am currently in DEP and ship out in OCT. I was wondering how hard it would be to become an officer by going the enlisted route with a degree.  I was told by my recruiters that my 2.5 GPA from college with a B.S. in Biology wouldn't help me out much except maybe applying while in the nuclear pipeline.  I was wondering how true this really is and how I would go about doing this. It is my understanding that STA- 21 is out since I already have a degree so would it just be applying to OCS?
Also just to clarify (not trying to make excuses) regarding my GPA. I am someone that learns things quickly so never had to try in college and high school just to pass.  I was in college to please a parent and not because it was what I was interested in.  The military however is something that I am passionate about and I got a 99 ASVAB right off the block.  I know that the pipeline is going to be hard and not for lazy people but I do know that it is someplace that I could excel.
Any advice you guys have would be appreciated.
