Regs on bioassay equipment QA/QC requirements?

Can anyone out there direct me to where I can find the actual minimum regulatory requirements for QA/QC for our bioassay equipment?  I have just discovered that we have no actual documented program which covers this equipment, just a guy who has been doing it "if it ever needs to get done."
