That's kinda what I was trying to say. I like helping people get jobs, not something I'm going to brag about. And people have helped me get jobs. I appreciate it.
I would just like people to at least at a minimum acknowledge there are two sides to the nuclear power "question", whatever side you are on. Nothing is ever just about what is the straight profit right at the second you provide a good or service, even on a small scale. And power generation is something special. That's why our roads and military are what they are today. There is no way to see if we made a straight profit over the last 10 years by maintaining a great military as an example. But we are relatively safe and secure. Things like our military, roads, schools and power generation/grid can't be trivialized by saying "destroy everything that isn't making a profit today". A nuclear plant isn't just a widget.
But you can have a conversation about the pros and cons on a forum. I think all our nuclear plants should stay operating for up to 80 years. Not everybody share that opinion. I get that alot of them are having trouble competing with natural gas when you factor in "direct costs" for lack of a better term. But there are other costs and advantages to using each type of pwer source. Treating everyone like an idiot because they don't think exactly like you do sucks. A forum is a place to have a discussion about something. If you already know everything and the rest of us have nothing to offer, what are you doing here?
