I recently completed a BS in Nuclear Engineering Technology through Excelsior College. I am a navy vet, however in an irrelevant field (Corpsman). I have no leads on what to do for employment in my area other than the shipyard in Bremerton, WA. Even then, I have no luck in terms of employment with USAJOBS with that respect.

What should I do?

Could really use some guidance.

Thanks for reading!

If you want to work in nuclear, you're going to have to move unless you are dead set on the shipyard. As a corpsman, you can go into the medical field (probably EMT or nursing or med school), and stay in he area. Or you can do something completely different. What is it you want to do?

A tech college degree in Nuclear Medicine / Radiology would open up a much more flexible employment path. Any GI bill bennies left?
Remember who you love. Remember what is sacred. Remember what is true.
Remember that you will die, and that this day is a gift. Remember how you wish to live, may the blessing of the Lord be with you
